Antwerp Gateway: Investing in automation to boost efficiency and capacity

DP World Antwerp Gateway is a 2.8 million TEU capacity terminal featuring 10 STS cranes and a hybrid AS-crane/straddle carrier-operated yard. Additionally, investments are underway to boost its capacity to 3.4 million TEU by 2025.

This expansion will be achieved through extensive automation, which will further improve operational efficiency. Moreover, these advancements will help maximize the currently available space, ensuring the terminal meets growing demands.
