Installing more than 100 BoxCatcher systems annually requires more than technology alone. It also requires safe, efficient and predictable execution in complex terminal environments.
To support its global installation activities, CAMCO invested in dedicated installation equipment, including extendable access cages and a 70 m high-reach Ruthmann boom lift.
The extendable access cages were co-developed together with a specialised manufacturer, based directly on real installation experience in the field. Suspended from a crane spreader and equipped with extendable platforms, the cages provide technicians with stable and controlled access during installation and maintenance activities at height.
The result is a safer, more efficient and more predictable approach to working on complex crane structures, while reducing dependency on temporary or rented access solutions.
The equipment supports BoxCatcher projects worldwide and enables CAMCO installation teams to operate with greater flexibility, faster mobilisation and improved planning efficiency.
Because in terminal automation, execution capability matters just as much as the technology itself.
